Prior to becoming a board certified psychiatrist, Monissa Solberg earned an education from the esteemed University of California, Los Angeles. She attended UCLA’s medical school, gaining extensive clinical knowledge in various settings. This work included assisting underserved populations across different Los Angeles County hospitals as well as lending a helping hand to veterans at the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center. She also aided at the UCLA Medical Center and Cedar Sinai Medical Center, sharing her knowledge and growing skills in academic and community settings.
Solberg -- now known as Dr. Monissa Solberg -- completed her residency training in adult psychiatry at UCLA, which led to her clinical and community endeavors. She also completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship through the university. During this, she worked with adults and juveniles within the justice system.
